beauty of advent

solitary flame
a candle better than curse
the beauty of one
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
now the light is two
in the deepening winter
the circle widens
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rose candle joins flame
the wait is almost over
third week of advent
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
circle of complete
illuminating darkness
four lights shining bright
I just spent a little time going through your most recent posts, and wanted to tell you that I LOVE your way with haiku. You really have this poetry form down to an art, every single one you create has such an impact! Thank you.
