stairways

looking up, i see
a journey toward heaven
one step at a timeover timeworn stairs
sea of humanity flows
longing for the view

What an incredible image! How desperately we want to glimpse eternity. Thanks for this.

You live in a beautiful part of the world. I didn't want to leave!

There are some incredible and excellent bloggers in NC. I'm happy to know that!

God bless, and thanks for stopping by.

This is a fitting poem for just a lot of that sea! The pictures fit nicely, just up and up.
Thank you for reading my little poem, I had to post it.

the beautiful spiraling stairways also have a circular suggestion of eternity in your climb to glimpse heaven. Beautiful words and beautiful photographs.

Your poem and photos are so wonderful-- made me think of all the saints through the gates of pearl.

Oh yes the last journey, eternity. How we all crave to see that stairway. You have put it so lovely that there can be no fear in this journey. Beautiful work my dear.
