faced with challenges
under the guise of a smile
memento morifrom afar, your warmth
hidden under marble mask
slips as i draw nearcaptured in content
time slips through centuries
holding your smile

What lovely photos. I can't help wondering what that first little cherub is up to. Looks like no good to me. I especially like the third haiku that sandy and zoya mentioned. Very beautiful.

i have an amazing fascinations with all things icon... even tho i haven't been to church in forever,, and really find no proof there ever really was a god... the feeling i get,, when i stare into the eyes of an icon tho speaks volumes,, and need no god to move me....
