change II

turn away in dread
surrender to the moment
relief in the new

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
evening shadows fall
velvet night in quiet lull
morning rays awake
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

looking back i see

growth into the forward me

janus i can be

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
new horizon calls
winds of change beckoning forth
let go, autumn leaf
one deep breath
Beautiful! I relate to the first especially...I crave change...the flip side way sometimes...to avoid discomfort. Barone
Timely wisdom for me personally, as I prepare'hope to pull up 23 years of roots for a whole new sort of life in a retirement residence. I also hope I will remember during this process that relief does come with the change. :-)
These are all lovely and the photos as well. The final one spoke most strongly to me - I have a tendency to hang on far too long. Nice post!
I enjoyed all these - can relate to the first very well. My favourite though is the one about Janus. Excellent way of looking at things.
I liked them all. I did find that last one, the letting go, particularly apt. I guess I relate too much to it.
barone...exactly! i usually love change, but not always!
roswila...i pray the very best for you in the monumental change.
tumble...me too, especially with family/friends...time moves too quickly when we are all together.
clare...thank you!
crafty...that is my personal fave too for this set...it felt whimsical yet deep when it came forth.
jo...cold winds do make it daunting to let go...
christine...i am glad you may see the hope in them...for that is my hope!
zap...& lissa...i am glad you enjoy the photo pairings... they are often the source of inspiration
sean...i appreciate your comment about timing...i am trying to work through rhythms that are more appealing & your input helps me understand
patois...it is hard to let go of those things we hold dear...
