a summer's day

not so far beyond

In the midst of winter and looking ahead Summer does seem so far away, but looking back every season seems to pass so quickly.

Nicely captured. Expectation. Time for winter to fold away I think.

Nice to focus in on that promise! I enjoyed this pair - the poem and photo.

They are so close. I think we reconcile the opposites in our imaginations...and summer comes.

Well, I am looking ahead for sure. Love the way those bare limbs are shaking their hands toward the sky.

Very nice combination of words and photo.

Hi Ms. Bella, you are very correct in your nice haiku. You like most of the rest of us are relying on memories for your poem. Yours is of nicer times, I like it.
And I have stopped teasing, we got home this Tuesday. It was wonderful!
